Key Responsibilities
Design, code, test, and deploy Android apps, integrating with backend services and APIs.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, responsive interfaces.
Optimize app performance for battery efficiency and smooth user experience.
Implement offline data capture and synchronization mechanisms to ensure seamless user experience in low-connectivity environments.
Develop and manage push notification services for real-time user engagement.
Handle debugging, unit testing, Google Play Store submissions, and updates to existing apps.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Kotlin (primary) and Java.
Solid knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, Android Studio.
Experience with Room/SQLite or other local persistence solutions for offline-first apps.
Expertise in RESTful APIs, JSON, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with third-party SDKs such as Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).
Robust problem-solving skills for edge cases, memory management, and Android lifecycle.
Knowledge of security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
Experience with push notifications (FCM) and offline data synchronization strategies.
