Role & Responsibilities
Deliver immediate, life-saving interventions for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and septic emergencies—managing resuscitation, airway control, and stabilization.
Lead multidisciplinary teams during mass casualty incidents or code blue events—coordinating nurses, paramedics, and specialists under high-pressure conditions.
Implement clinical protocols aligned with Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Indian Emergency Medicine standards.
Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medico-legal requirements and hospital audit trails.




Participate in quality improvement initiatives—reviewing mortality/morbidity cases, reducing ED length-of-stay, and optimizing resource allocation.
Train junior doctors and nursing staff on emergency algorithms, procedural skills, and communication during critical events.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
DM Emergency Medicine / DNB Emergency Medicine / MD General Medicine with emergency rotation experience
ACLS certification
ATLS certification
Proficiency in trauma & cardiac resuscitation
Experience in managing ICU/ED patient flow
Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation

Preferred
Experience in teaching or mentoring junior doctors
Exposure to disaster response or mass casualty drills
familiarity with clinical decision support tools or mobile code documentation platforms
