Role & Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned PGT English lessons for grades 11–12, aligning with CBSE/ISC Board guidelines.
Design and implement student-centered pedagogy using digital tools, literature-based activities, and critical thinking frameworks.
Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations, providing timely feedback and remediation strategies.
Collaborate with department heads to co-create lesson plans, conduct peer reviews, and participate in curriculum innovation workshops.
Mentor students for competitive exams,



public speaking, debate, and creative writing competitions.
Maintain academic records, attend parent-teacher meetings, and contribute to school-wide literacy initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
PGT certification or B.Ed with MA in English
CBSE/ISC/State Board curriculum expertise
Classroom management proficiency
Google Classroom or LMS tool familiarity
Competency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Student assessment & evaluation techniques

Preferred
Experience with flipped classroom or blended learning models
Certification in literature pedagogy or creative writing instruction
Prior teaching in urban private or international schools
