We are looking for a skilled and responsible Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles/equipment. The candidate should have positive technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to provide quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Perform servicing, repair, maintenance, and inspection of vehicles/equipment.
Identify faults using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
Handle battery, wiring, motor, controller, and other electrical components where applicable.
Follow company safety standards and service procedures.
Complete assigned service jobs within the required timeline.
Maintain proper records of repairs, parts used, and service activities.
Conduct quality checks after completing repairs.
Explain technical issues and repair work to customers when required.
Coordinate with the service team for spare parts and technical support.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the workshop/service area.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read basic wiring diagrams.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to learn new technologies, especially EV technology.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or related trade preferred.
Relevant technical experience will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
Automobile / EV / two-wheeler service experience.
Experience in workshop or authorized service center preferred.
