Build longterm capability in product design, mould design and productionready drawings for kerbs, specials, accessories, street furniture and bespoke precast items.
Responsibilities:
Design current precast products with focus on manufacturability, handling, finish and durability.
Develop mould concepts (split lines, inserts, liners, chamfers, draft) and issue fabricationready drawings.
Standardise product families using modular inserts and controlled variants.
Support trials and continuous improvements (cycle time,
finish defects, breakage reduction, repeatability).
Prepare technical documentation: tolerances, inspection points, revision control and feedback loops.
Skills:
Solid 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks / Inventor / Fusion 360) and AutoCAD 2D.
Understanding of demoulding, inserts, tolerances and fabrication practicality.
Ability to coordinate with production and vendors for mould manufacturing.
Structured problemsolving and documentation discipline.
