Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Council registration.
Certification/course in Infection Prevention & Control will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities
Monitor and implement hospital infection prevention and control policies.
Conduct regular rounds in clinical and patient-care areas.
Monitor hand hygiene compliance among healthcare workers.
Ensure proper use of PPE and standard precautions.
Monitor biomedical waste segregation and disposal practices.
Assist in surveillance and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
Conduct infection control audits and maintain relevant records.
Assist in staff training and awareness sessions on infection prevention practices.
Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and cleaning practices.
Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, housekeeping, and other departments regarding infection control issues.
Report infection control breaches and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Maintain infection control documentation, reports, and audit records.
Support the Infection Control Committee in meetings, activities, and compliance initiatives.
Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards.

Preferred Candidate
A motivated fresher or candidate with up to 1 year of nursing experience who is interested in developing a career in Infection Prevention and Control.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
