Jr. Engineer – Purchase

We are looking for a Jr. Engineer – Purchase to support direct procurement of mechanical components used in machine manufacturing and assembly. The role involves vendor coordination, material follow-up, sourcing, and vendor development to ensure timely availability of materials as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Handle direct purchase of mechanical parts and components used in machine manufacturing and assembly.
Coordinate with vendors for material availability, delivery schedules, and order status.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Support sourcing and development of new vendors for required mechanical components.
Assist in arranging critical and urgent parts to meet production requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Production, Stores, Quality,



and Engineering for material requirements.
Maintain purchase-related records, follow-ups, and vendor information.
Support price comparison, quotation collection, and basic commercial evaluation.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
Interest in direct purchase and procurement.
Valuable vendor coordination and follow-up skills.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment and handle urgent material requirements.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹460,000.00 per year
