Job Summary

JLL is seeking an experienced Mechanical SME to support the construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems for a large-scale Data Centre Project in Gandhinagar. The ideal candidate will possess solid expertise in mission-critical mechanical infrastructure, ensuring project delivery meets quality, safety, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for all mechanical construction activities on site.
Review and validate mechanical designs, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
Oversee installation of HVAC systems, chilled water systems, piping networks, ventilation systems, pumps, and associated mechanical equipment.
Coordinate with CSA, Electrical, MEP, contractors, consultants, and commissioning teams.
Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules.
Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
Support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.




Identify construction and technical risks and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, statutory regulations, and project quality standards.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical construction and project execution.
Robust understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water plants, ventilation systems, mechanical piping, and cooling infrastructure.
Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
