The Solar Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of solar PV systems at site, ensuring proper functioning, safety, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Install solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical components.
Perform DC/AC wiring, cabling, earthing, and basic electrical connections.
Assist in system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of solar systems.
Follow instructions from site engineers and supervisors.
Ensure safety practices and proper use of tools and equipment.
Report issues, damages, or faults to the site engineer.
Support loading/unloading and handling of materials at site.
Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical or relevant field.
0–3 years of experience in solar/electrical work (freshers can apply).
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and tools.
Physically fit and willing to work at project sites.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
