Job Description – Night Duty Doctor
Hospital: Pallava Hospital
Position: Night Duty Doctor (NDD)
Shift: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM or 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Salary: ₹60,000/- per month
Monthly Off: 4 days per month
Employment Type: Full time

Job Summary

Pallava Hospital is looking for a responsible and competent Night Duty Doctor to provide medical care and support to patients during the night shift. The doctor will be responsible for patient assessment, emergency management, monitoring, and coordination with the hospital team and senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities
Provide medical care and clinical support to patients during the night shift.
Assess patients and manage routine and emergency medical conditions.
Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to any deterioration.
Review and manage admissions, emergencies, and urgent medical requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other hospital departments as required.
Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, and documentation.
Ensure timely communication and proper handover to the day-duty medical team.
Follow hospital protocols,



clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards.
Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Maintain qualified conduct and patient confidentiality at all times.

Candidate Requirements
MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
Valid medical registration.
Relevant hospital experience preferred.
Positive clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations independently.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work regular night shifts.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₹60,000/- per month
