About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join a small, high-ownership engineering team building a recent product component from the ground up.

You will design, develop, deploy, and support scalable backend services used by tens of thousands of users daily.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of backend development experience with TypeScript
3+ years of hands-on NestJS experience
Solid knowledge of NestJS architecture and best practices
Proven hands-on experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Experience building and supporting NestJS applications on AWS
Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
Advanced experience with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted coding tools
Experience with scalable system design and production applications
Experience working in Agile / startup environments
Willing to work full-time from our Koramangala office
Joining within 30 days

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop clean, scalable, maintainable backend applications
Build and support production-grade NestJS services on AWS
Participate in architecture, technical design,



and code reviews
Follow engineering best practices including SOLID, KISS, and YAGNI
Apply true TDD and deliver highly testable code
Work with microservices and event-driven systems
Deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot backend services
Provide L3 production support
Improve application performance, reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency
Collaborate with Backend, Frontend, QA, Product, and Engineering teams
Use and improve AI-assisted development workflows, including Claude Code
