Maintaining the availability, stability, and performance of IBM i environments and business-critical applications.
Production support
Incident and Problem management
System Administration

User Administration.
Provide 24x7 support, including weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage for critical production systems
Support and monitor applications such as JDA/Blue Yonder, XStore, Vertex, ETL, EDI, Robot Scheduler, Tomcat, Infor XA (MAPICS), JD Edwards, and other IBM i-based applications.
Robust knowledge of IBMi administration, BRMS, high availability solutions, production support and operational best practices is required
Excellent troubleshooting, communication and coordination skills
Any experience on AS/400 development will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting batch job failures
Performing root cause analysis
Supporting change and release activities




Managing system health and performance
Handling backup and recovery operations
Supporting disaster recovery activities
Coordinating with business users, application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
PTF management,
Cumulative package installation,
IBMi OS upgrades,
Technology Refresh implementations,
System patching,
Third-party application installation and upgrades,
Migration activities
Post-implementation validation
User communication regarding the status and estimated resolution times for tickets.
Documentation of recurring issues and resolutions
Ensuring compliance with defined SLA’s and providing prompt response to user queries.
Versatile to work in shift hours and providing on call support during weekends and outside working hours as required.
Excellent analytical and communication skills
