Job Summary

The assistantTeam Leader is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, supervising warehouse associates, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining service levels, productivity, quality, and safety standards. The role involves leading a team to achieve operational KPIs while ensuring smooth inbound, storage, sorting, and outbound processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Management
Lead and supervise warehouse associates and executives.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor team productivity.
Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Train, coach, and develop team members.
Conduct shift briefings and performance reviews.

Warehouse Operations
Manage inbound, storage, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
Ensure timely processing of shipments as per SLA and TAT commitments.
Monitor daily workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
Coordinate with transportation and operations teams for smooth dispatches.

Inventory Management
Maintain inventory accuracy and stock integrity.
Conduct cycle counts and stock audits.
Ensure proper stock movement and reconciliation.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety policies and warehouse SOPs.
Maintain housekeeping and workplace discipline.




Conduct safety briefings and ensure proper use of equipment and PPE.
Support audits and compliance requirements.

Reporting & KPI Management
Track and report productivity, quality, and operational KPIs.
Prepare daily operational reports and shift handover updates.
Identify process improvement prospects and implement corrective actions.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).
2–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Minimum 1 year of team handling experience.
Valuable knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
