Key Responsibilities
Book Layout & Typesetting
Editorial Design: Design complete book layouts for academic publications, ensuring readability, proper hierarchy, and a skilled aesthetic.
Format Adaptation: Format and export files appropriately for both high-quality print production (pre-press, bleed, margins) and various e-book formats (PDF, EPUB, etc.).
Cover Design: Conceptualize and design engaging book covers tailored to an academic and qualified audience.
Illustration & AI Graphic Development
Custom Illustration: Create transparent, accurate, and visually appealing illustrations, charts, and diagrams to accompany academic text.
AI Integration: Actively use AI generation tools (such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or ChatGPT/DALL-E) to concept, develop, and refine graphics, saving time without sacrificing quality.
General Graphic Design: Design supporting marketing collaterals, promotional graphics, and internal documents as required by the business.
Quality Assurance & File Management
Pre-flight Checks: Rigorously review proofs to ensure zero formatting errors, image resolution issues, or text cut-offs before publishing.




Asset Organization: Maintain a highly organized library of design assets, working files, final exports, and licensed/AI-generated images.

Requirements & Qualifications
Portfolio Required: Must provide a portfolio showcasing editorial layouts, book designs, and digital illustrations.
Publishing Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, along with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Book Design Experience: Demonstrated experience in book formatting, typesetting, and preparing files for print and digital publishing.
Illustration Skills: Ability to draw/create vector graphics and academic diagrams from scratch.
AI Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience prompting and utilizing AI design tools to generate functional graphics.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
