Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Tool & Die Making, or Mechanical Trade.
Relevant experience in EDM / Wire Cut operation preferred.
Key Skills
Engineering drawing reading.
Knowledge of EDM & Wire Cut machine operation.
Basic 2D programming and manual parameter setting.
Knowledge of Vernier, Height Gauge, Micrometer, etc.
Understanding of accuracy, tolerance, and machine least count.
Basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

HOD – Tool Room
Key Responsibilities
Operate EDM and Wire Cut machines as per drawing and job requirements.
Set jobs, electrodes, programs, and machine parameters accurately.
Select appropriate cutting wire and electrodes as required.
Check finished jobs using measuring instruments and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintain machine, tools, and work area as per 5S and hygiene standards.
Follow all health and safety requirements.
