Job Description

An Art and Craft Teacher develops and delivers creative, hands-on curriculum (drawing, painting, crafting) to enhance students' artistic skills and self-expression. They prepare lessons, manage supplies, assess progress, and create a positive setting, often organizing school exhibitions and integrating creative projects into the broader curriculum. Instruction: Conduct lessons in various techniques like painting, sketching, pottery, and handicrafts.
Curriculum Development: Prepare age-appropriate lesson plans and visual aids.
Classroom Management: Maintain a protected, creative, and organized workspace.
Evaluation: Assess student progress and maintain records.
Exhibitions: Organize art shows, exhibitions, and cultural events.
Collaboration: Coordinate with class teachers to link art to other subjects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts (BFA)



or a related field.
Experience: Previous teaching experience in schools is often preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in various mediums (acrylic, watercolor, clay, papercraft).
Soft Skills: High patience, creativity, and excellent classroom management.
