Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Executive – Mechanical to manage quality inspection and control activities in a manufacturing/engineering environment. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in mechanical quality assurance or quality control.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical components and finished products.
Inspect products as per drawings, specifications, standards, and approved samples.
Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, check sheets, and NCRs.
Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and other quality tools.
Support CAPA implementation and monitor effectiveness.
Assist in process and product audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
Monitor rejection, rework, and defect trends and recommend process improvements.
Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of measuring instruments.
Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke,



and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare quality MIS and performance reports for management.

Requirements
Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Mechanical Quality / QA / QC in a manufacturing or engineering company.
Robust knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T;, inspection methods, and measurement techniques.
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, SPC, CAPA, RCA, FMEA, and MSA is preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal quality audits is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
