Accurately dispense prescription medications, ensuring correct dosage, formulation, and labeling.
Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of medication.
Advise patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and safety precautions.
Provide guidance on over-the-counter medications, health supplements, and dietary changes.
Monitor and review patient medications for effectiveness, side effects, and drug interactions.
Perform medication therapy management and provide recommendations to optimize patient care.
Work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare specialists to enhance patient outcomes.
Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare teams and contribute to treatment planning.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and inventory management.
Monitor medication stock levels, ensure medications are ordered and stocked properly.
Manage medication expiration dates and ensure proper storage.
Administer immunizations as required (flu shots, travel vaccines, etc.)
