JOB DESCRIPTION – ESTIMATOR

Main Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for printing and packaging jobs.
Calculate the requirement and cost of paper, board, ink, plates, lamination, UV, foiling, die cutting, punching, pasting, and other processes.
Study customer specifications, artwork details, sizes, quantities, and finishing requirements.
Calculate production costs, wastage, machine costs, labour costs, and other related expenses.
Prepare job costing sheets and quotations.
Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Planning, Production, Purchase, and Stores departments for required information.
Check material availability and current material prices when preparing estimates.
Compare estimated costs with actual production costs when required.




Ensure quotations are prepared accurately and submitted on time.
Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, and job costing details.
Update costing based on changes in material prices or production processes.

Requirements
Experience in Offset Printing and Packaging Estimation is preferred.
Positive knowledge of paper/board, printing, lamination, UV, foiling, die cutting, punching, pasting, and other packaging processes.
Ability to understand job specifications and calculate production costs accurately.
Basic knowledge of Excel and computer applications.
Positive numerical, analytical, and coordination skills.

Experience: 1+ year preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
