We are looking for M.Sc. Microbiology freshers to join our Microbiology Laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for sample processing, culture-related laboratory work, testing, documentation, and following laboratory SOPs and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, identify, and process clinical samples as per SOPs.
Perform routine microbiological testing under supervision.
Assist in culture and sensitivity testing.
Perform basic staining techniques such as Gram staining.
Prepare and handle culture media and laboratory reagents.
Maintain proper sample identification and documentation.
Assist in maintaining laboratory records and test results.
Follow laboratory SOPs, quality control, and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the microbiology work area.
Handle laboratory equipment and instruments as per SOPs.
Report any sample discrepancy or unusual observation to the senior team.
Coordinate with senior microbiologists and laboratory staff.
Educational Qualification
M.Sc. Microbiology – Fresher
B.Sc. Microbiology candidates with relevant exposure may also be considered.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Microbiology laboratory techniques.
Knowledge of Gram staining, culture media, bacterial identification, and AST is preferred.
Valuable attention to detail and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn diagnostic microbiology processes.
Ability to work in a team and laboratory workplace.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
