Roles and Responsibilities of an English Teacher (Up to Grade 8)Academic Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons according to the curriculum.
Teach reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills.
Develop students' comprehension and communication abilities.
Encourage correct pronunciation and fluent spoken English.
Conduct classroom activities, storytelling, debates, role-plays, and language games.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
Assess students through classwork, homework, projects, and examinations.
Maintain accurate records of students' academic progress.

Classroom Management
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Maintain classroom discipline and encourage respectful behavior.
Ensure active participation from all students.
Manage classroom resources effectively.

Student Development
Identify students requiring additional academic support.
Provide remedial teaching and individual guidance when necessary.
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in communication.
Foster a love for reading through library activities and reading programs.

Administrative Responsibilities




Maintain attendance records and student portfolios.
Complete report cards and progress reports on time.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and workshops.
Assist in examination duties, paper setting, and evaluation.

Parent Communication
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.

School Responsibilities
Participate in school events, assemblies, competitions, and cultural programs.
Support school policies and maintain skilled conduct.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.

Skilled Conduct
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Stay updated with contemporary teaching methodologies and educational practices.
Uphold the values, vision, and mission of the school.
Serve as a positive role model for students through professional behavior and communication.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
