Job Title: Transport Manager

Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma preferred

Key Responsibilities

Transport Operations
Plan, coordinate and manage daily transportation operations for employees and company requirements.
Ensure timely and safe transportation of employees between designated locations.
Prepare and monitor vehicle schedules, routes and trip plans.
Ensure optimum utilization of company-owned and hired vehicles.

Driver & Staff Management
Supervise drivers, transport staff and support personnel.
Ensure drivers follow company policies, traffic rules and safety procedures.
Conduct regular meetings and provide guidance to drivers.

Vehicle Management
Monitor vehicle condition, fitness, insurance, permits, PUC and other statutory documents.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of vehicles.
Track vehicle servicing, repairs, fuel consumption and maintenance costs.
Ensure vehicles are clean, safe and properly maintained.

Route & Cost Management
Optimize routes to reduce travel time, fuel consumption and transportation costs.




Monitor fuel usage, mileage and vehicle expenses.
Review transport costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Maintain proper records of vehicle usage and expenses.

Vendor Management
Coordinate with transport contractors and external vehicle service providers.
Negotiate rates and monitor vendor performance.
Verify bills, trip sheets and supporting documents before processing payments.
Ensure contracted vehicles meet company safety and service standards.

Robust coordination and follow-up skills
Cost control and budgeting ability
Knowledge of MS Excel and transport-related documentation

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
