Prepare and maintain formulation and production plans based on customer orders and production requirements.
Convert sales orders/production requirements into detailed formulation and material plans.
Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and verify raw-material requirements for each formulation.
Calculate material requirements based on batch size, production quantity, and approved formulation.
Coordinate with R&D;/Formulation, Production, Quality, Stores, and Procurement teams.
Check availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production inputs.
Raise material requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely availability.
Prepare and monitor MRP (Material Requirement Planning).
Prepare production schedules and ensure adherence to planned timelines.
Monitor batch-wise production and formulation status.
Ensure formulations are prepared according to approved specifications and customer requirements.
Coordinate formulation changes, revisions,
and approvals with the concerned departments.
Maintain accurate records of formulations, BOMs, production plans, and material requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages or excess stock.
Follow up on material shortages and take corrective action to avoid production delays.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly PPIC reports and production status reports.
Update ERP systems with formulation, BOM, production, and material-planning information.
Support capacity planning and optimize production schedules.
Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company procedures and quality standards.
