● The Product developer must have wide range of transparent knowledge about the body proportions from kids to adults, measurements according to the style, consumption for the individual merchandise, the size skip ratio, solutions for fitting problems, processes required to achieve the required finish, embellishment developments and their process, garment construction and most importantly patterning and grading.
● Coordinate between the designer and the production team.
● Communication between the Designer and the production team has to be taken forward by the Product developer.
● Must support the designers in all possible ways to achieve a design’s result to be delivered out well and must guide and provide feedback regard the same.
● Responsible to prepare a minimum economic consumption for any recent development production.
● Patterning and grading must be supervised by the Product developer during each process for individual schools and the final size set has to be checked by the Designers and the product development team.
● The Product development team has to submit a whole set of data from the sizing, patterning measurement, grading measurement and the no. of size set produced for the particular school on a particular season.
● The size set has to be developed with the knowledge of the Product development team.
● The Product development team remains answerable for any questions regarding the size set for any school.
● The Product development team remains responsible for any upcoming developments from the design team.
