Fabric Follow-Up – Job Responsibilities
Follow up daily with knitting, dyeing, finishing, and fabric suppliers.
Monitor fabric production status against the planned TNA.
Track yarn availability, knitting start/completion, dyeing, finishing, and fabric in-house dates.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure fabric is available as per production requirements.
Follow up on lab dips, bulk approvals, shade, GSM, width, shrinkage, and fabric quality.
Identify delays and immediately update the concerned team with revised delivery dates.
Maintain daily fabric follow-up reports and update the TNA.
Coordinate with suppliers and production teams to resolve fabric-related issues.
Ensure committed fabric in-house dates are maintained.
Escalate critical delays to the management/merchandising team.
