Job Responsibilities:
Examining and treating injuries and illnesses in children
Administering vaccinations and providing advice on general health and wellness topics
Diagnosing and treating childrens diseases, infections, and other health issues
Monitoring the growth, development, and behaviour of children and adolescents
Conducting thorough examinations on newborns to check and record their health and normal physical development
Advising parents on children’s diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures
Collaborating with other healthcare specialists to plan and coordinate treatment
Keeping a detailed record of patients’ illnesses, surgeries, or other medical episodes (inpatient, outpatient, consultation)
Referring children to appropriate specialists when necessary
Providing support and advice to parents on handling the child’s physical, emotional, and mental development milestones
