Role & responsibilities
PREFERRED FROM STEEL INDUSTRY
-Develop & Implement comprehensive safety strategies, policies and procedures aligned with OSHA, Factories Act ISO 45001 and other statutory regulations.
-Lead hazard identification , Risk Assessments (HIRA) and safety audits across all the plant area including SMS, Caster, R/Mill & BBS.
-Drive Zero Accident culture & lead accident investigation (RCA/5Way/ Fishbone) for all unsafe acts/accidents/near misses.
Ensure timely compliances with MOEF & CC, CPCB /SPCB and factory inspectorate safety mandates.
Coordinate regular safety committee meetings, drive behavioural based safety - BBS and contractor.
-Guide plant modification safety reviews (MOC) and participate in design safety evaluation for current facilities or equipment.
Preferred candidate profile
BE / RLI Diploma in Safety
