Job Purpose

To modify models, oversee calculations and generation of results for Valuation and Reporting activities in order to produce reports for the Management to analyse. Managing junior team members on a task by task basis.

Digesting large amounts of information and being able to recognise key items quickly

Oversee and Perform calculations in Periodic Valuation/current projects
Ensure that the required data is available for monthly valuation in time in required format.
Processing of information using reasonable knowledge of actuarial principles and methods.
Plan, direct and perform various computations using models
Modifying models as required with appropriate documentation
Run complex models independently

Compile and analyse results for Periodic Valuation/recent projects
Analysing results
Ensuring appropriate checking of results
Recommending changes required based on checks
Performing cause-effect analysis to check reasonability
