Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to generate recent business, manage client relationships and promote our IT products and services. Experience working with educational institutions is highly preferred, particularly candidates from organizations such as Shiksha, Careers360 or similar companies.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, online research and referrals.
Identify and develop business opportunities with educational institutions and other B2B clients.
Understand client requirements and present suitable IT products and solutions.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.
Conduct client calls, meetings, presentations and regular follow-ups.
Prepare customized proposals, presentations and quotations.
Maintain MIS,



Excel reports, CRM records, sales funnels and client databases.
Research prospects, decision-makers and market opportunities.
Coordinate with technical and delivery teams for client requirements.
Manage key accounts and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Must-Have Skills
2+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development.
Experience selling software, SaaS, web/mobile applications or IT services.
Educational institution/EdTech sales experience will be an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Office.
Robust lead generation, follow-up and closing skills.
Valuable analytical and data-management abilities.
Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions to clients.

Good-to-Have Skills
Engineering degree + MBA in Marketin
