Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with robust hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SnapLogic, dbt, SQL, and data modelling to build scalable, production-grade data platforms. The role also requires practical use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and data quality.

AI-First Mindset:
Candidates should regularly use AI coding assistants in their daily workflow and demonstrate the ability to prompt effectively, validate AI-generated code, troubleshoot pipelines, and apply AI to engineering automation.

Ideal Profile:
8+ years in Data Engineering with 4+ years of Snowflake and contemporary ELT/dbt experience, with a proven track record of delivering production-grade data pipelines at scale.

Key Responsibilities:




Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Snowflake.
Build integrations using SnapLogic across APIs, source systems, and downstream platforms.
Develop tested and documented dbt models and transformations with CI/CD.
Design dimensional and Bronze/Silver/Gold data architectures.
Optimize Snowflake performance, security, and cloud costs.
Implement data quality, governance, testing, and documentation standards.
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Copilot for coding, debugging, documentation, and data-quality analysis.
Review AI-generated outputs and ensure production-quality code.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Must-Have Skills:
Snowflake Data modelling, performance tuning, security & cost optimization.
SnapLogic Integration pipeline development.
dbt Models, tests, macros, dependencies & documentation.
Robust SQL and Python/scripting experience.
