Key Responsibilities:
Operate DRO milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T; symbols.
Set up workpieces, tools, and fixtures on the milling machine.
Ensure dimensional accuracy of components using measuring instruments like vernier
callipers, micrometres, and height gauges.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow routine maintenance schedules.
Identify and correct machine malfunctions or errors.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and production logs.
Adhere to all safety and quality standards in the workshop.
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or relevant trade.
Fresher or experienced operating DRO milling machines.
Positive understanding of engineering drawings and machining symbols (especially GD&T;).
Knowledge of tool selection and machine settings for different materials.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and precision.
