Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Officer to manage the procurement of construction materials, tools, equipment, and other project requirements. Freshers with valuable communication and negotiation skills are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior purchase/procurement experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of civil and construction materials.
Source materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, blocks, plumbing, electrical, hardware, and other site requirements.
Identify and coordinate with reliable vendors and suppliers.
Collect and compare quotations from different suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.
Coordinate with site engineers and project teams regarding material requirements.




Follow up with vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Check material quantity, quality, and specifications.
Maintain vendor details, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other purchase documents.
Coordinate with the accounts team regarding purchase bills and payments.
Monitor pending orders and follow up regularly.
Assist in maintaining purchase expenses within the approved budget.
Handle urgent material requirements for project sites.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of construction and building materials.
Positive communication and negotiation skills.
Valuable coordination and follow-up skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Ability to compare quotations and maintain purchase records.
Willingness to learn construction procurement processes.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or any
