To lead Vehicle Architecture definition, integration, and optimization for 3-Wheeler (3W) and 4-Wheeler (4W) vehicle platforms under NPD-CMB.
Responsibilities
1. Define and maintain vehicle architecture strategy for 3W and 4W platforms ensuring scalability and modularity
2. Lead architecture integration ensuring optimal packaging, ergonomics, and system compatibility across vehicle segments
3. Execution of designs meeting QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) timelines for 3W/4W vehicle programs
4. Develop recent technologies and capabilities in vehicle architecture domain for multi-wheeler applications
5. Approve FTO (Freedom to Operate) and IDF (Innovation Disclosure Form) for architecture-related innovations
6. Drive platform commonization strategy across 3W and 4W to optimize development costs and time-to-market
7. Deployment of CQ (Cost & Quality), PACE (Product Architecture Cost Engineering), and variant designs
8. Establishing process standardization within Vehicle Architecture function
9. Approve design manuals, architecture standards,
and checklists specific to 3W/4W platforms
10. Support NPD projects through resource estimation, allocation, and cross-functional coordination
11. Lead architecture trade-off studies balancing performance, cost, weight, and manufacturability
12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements specific to 3W and 4W vehicle categories
13. Drive innovation in chassis, BIW (Body-in-White), and structural architecture
14. Coordinate with suppliers for architecture-level components and systems integration
