Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of the company. This role ensures compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations, oversees billing and payment processes, and supports financial planning and reporting activities. The Accountant will work closely with the operations and management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cost control aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Record Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger entries.




Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Billing and Invoicing
Prepare and issue invoices for freight, shipping, and other logistics services provided by the company.
Verify and process vendor invoices while ensuring timely payments to suppliers and service providers.
Monitor billing cycles to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing to clients.
Expense and Cost Management
Track and analyze expenses related to shipments, customs duties, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Collaborate with the operations team to monitor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare expense reports and ensure adherence to budgetary controls and company policies.
Taxation and Compliance
Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, GST, and other applicable taxes.
