Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Consultant Pathologist to oversee pathology operations, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and maintain high standards of quality and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Perform and review pathology investigations and ensure accurate interpretation of results.
Review and authorize laboratory reports within defined TAT.
Handle hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, cytology, and histopathology as applicable.
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and internal/external quality assessment programs.
Provide clinical inputs and guidance to laboratory and technical teams.
Investigate discrepancies, critical values, and reporting errors and take corrective actions.




Support NABL/ISO audits and ensure adherence to applicable quality and compliance standards.
Coordinate with clinicians and laboratory teams for case discussions and report clarification.
Ensure proper documentation and maintain patient confidentiality.
Contribute to process improvement and continuous quality enhancement.

Eligibility
MD/DNB/DCP in Pathology from a recognized institution.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a diagnostic laboratory.
Valid medical registration.
Strong knowledge of pathology reporting, laboratory quality systems, and diagnostic practices.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with laboratory teams.
