Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in Networking L2/L3 protocol with Python based automation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain network automation scripts and tools using
Python
.
Automate network configuration, provisioning, monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
Work extensively with
network switches and routers
across L2/L3 environments.
Configure and troubleshoot
Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
technologies.
Develop automation workflows using APIs, SSH, NETCONF/RESTCONF, and other network interfaces.
Integrate automation solutions with network management and monitoring platforms.
Perform network health checks, configuration compliance, and operational validation.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.
Collaborate with network engineering and operations teams to identify automation prospects.
Maintain technical documentation, automation scripts,



and operational procedures.

Required Skills
Robust programming/scripting experience in
Python
.
Hands-on experience with
network routers and switches
.
Strong understanding of
L2/L3 networking concepts
.
Positive knowledge of:
VLAN, Trunking, STP
TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
Routing protocols such as
OSPF and BGP
IP addressing and subnetting
HSRP/VRRP
Experience with network automation frameworks and libraries such as
Netmiko, NAPALM, Paramiko, or Ansible
.
Understanding of
REST APIs
and network device automation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with
Git/version control
and basic CI/CD concepts is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Cisco certifications such as
CCNA/CCNP
are preferred.
Experience with
Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS
.
Exposure to
Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ACI, or SD-WAN
is an advantage
