About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial activities. The ideal candidate should have experience with project-based accounting, vendor payments, client billing, expenses, GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation, preferably in an interior design, construction, or contracting company.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day books of accounts and accounting records.
Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Prepare and track client invoices, quotations, payment schedules, and outstanding receivables.
Manage vendor and subcontractor bills, payment schedules, and outstanding payables.
Maintain project-wise income and expense records.
Track material purchases and coordinate with project/site teams for bill verification.
Perform regular bank,



cash, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and other management reports.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements in coordination with the relevant consultant/CA.
Maintain proper documentation for invoices, bills, vouchers, receipts, and payments.
Monitor cash flow and upcoming payment commitments.
Assist management with project costing, budgets, and profitability analysis.
Coordinate with the CA/auditor for taxation, audit, and compliance requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting software.
Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Working knowledge of GST and TDS.
Experience with Tally Prime / ERP / accounting software.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel.
Robust reconciliation and numerical skills.
