Job Summary
Understanding of manufacturing processes and methods.
Know how of Engineering change process.
Understanding of the product range and exposure to field failure issues for such products.
Positive understanding of Basic Mechanical design parameter such as Dimensions , tolerances stiffness , strength and Impact resistance.
Proficiency in Sheet metal part design, integration of plastic parts design, so that design will be in accordance with the characteristics and limitations of the Manufacturing process.
Should have understanding of the processes of manufacturing and welding process on sheet metal specially with AL.
Preferred to have experience of designing and validating of Solar / enclosure design (not mandatorily).
Ability to understand various Standards and Incorporate Standard requirement in the design.
Knowledge on Tolerance management.
Value Engineering /Analysis knowledge(Must to have).
Additional Requisite (Preferable):
Should experience in cross functional team working with manufacturing plant.
Should lead CAD engineers drafts person.




Ability to understand the root cause of the failures /trouble shooting.
Should be a valuable mover with Cross functional departments.
MUST be a Go and getter character.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mechanical CAD knowledge:-
Should be proficient in Solid works.
Tolerance analysis, knowledge.
Qualifications
Should be Bachelor / Masters Mechanical/Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering background
