Role Description
The General Construction Equipment (GCE) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves daily inspection, operation, and basic upkeep of construction equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.



Responsibilities include assisting with equipment mobilization and demobilization at job sites, following safety protocols, and reporting any mechanical or operational issues promptly. The GCE team member will coordinate with supervisors, mechanics, and site engineers to support smooth project execution and minimize equipment downtime. The role also includes maintaining accurate usage logs, adhering to company procedures, and supporting continuous improvement in equipment handling and site operations.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of general construction equipment operations and basic mechanical awareness, including secure use of earth-moving and lifting machinery.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices, including PPE usage, hazard identification, and compliance with company and local regulations.
