We are looking for an experienced Legal Manager Technology, Privacy & Data Protection to manage legal matters relating to Privacy, Data Protection, Intellectual Property (IP), Cloud Computing, IT Systems, Cybersecurity,
Privacy & Data Protection
Provide legal advice on data privacy, data protection and information governance matters.
Advise business teams on applicable privacy laws and regulatory requirements.
Review and draft Privacy Policies, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Data Protection Addendums, consent mechanisms and privacy notices.
Technology & IT Legal
Review, draft and negotiate SaaS, cloud service, software licensing, IT services, system implementation, technology outsourcing, maintenance and support agreements.
Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks in technology contracts.
Advise internal stakeholders on technology procurement and vendor relationships.
Cloud & Cloud Protection
Cybersecurity & Information Security
Compliance & Regulatory
Key Skills & Competencies
Solid understanding of Privacy & Data Protection laws.
Expertise in Technology and IT contracts.
Positive understanding of Cloud Computing and Cloud Security.
Solid knowledge of Intellectual Property laws.
Understanding of Cybersecurity and Information Security.
Contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Preferred candidate profile
LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
Additional certification in Data Privacy, Data Protection, Cyber Law, Technology Law or Information Security will be an advantage.
