Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install and configure Desktop/Laptop PCs for interfacing with Eyecare equipment.

Troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity issues between computer and Eyecare equipment.
Collect, provide, and maintain detailed records in service requests regarding actions taken to resolve.
Escalate service requested to higher-level Support Technicians in a timely manner when needed.
Communicate with all types of associates and exhibit exceptional patience.
Work with vendors to ensure associate resources are available.
Train Associates as needed on how to access company digital services and resources.
Provide leadership with feedback regarding high-interest areas of concern for associates and frequently encountered challenges.
Should have basic knowledge of Antivirus and how block and allow policy work for applications and computers.
Work Experience
3+ Years minimum in an enterprise helpdesk or computer support environment.
Education
No formal educational requirement beyond HS diploma.
An Associate or /Bachelors degree in a computer related field is preferred.
Credentials
None required. Preference will be given to candidates holding Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, Google IT Support Qualified or other comparable certifications.
Job Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Familiarity with the support portal software application and how to triage the incoming service requests among the support team.
Demonstrated expertise in Windows PC hardware and software.
Valuable understanding of computer systems, other tech products.
Ability to diagnose and resolve moderately complex technical issues.
Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of attention to details.
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and ensure that all tickets are resolved promptly.
Success working within an office workplace, collaborative working with a broad spectrum of internal customers.
