Role & responsibilities
Channel Appointment Identify, evaluate and appoint dealers and distributors with the requisite financial standing, market reach and category focus; achieve prescribed coverage across every taluka and town in the territory.
Primary & Secondary Sales Deliver monthly primary billing targets while ensuring that stock genuinely moves at the counter; monitor channel stock levels and prevent unhealthy loading.
Retailer Engagement Work the market to an agreed beat plan; call on retailers directly to secure counter share, shelf presence and recommendation for the RHEIN brand over competing offerings.
Scheme Execution — Implement dealer and retailer schemes as approved; explain scheme economics clearly, track slab achievement, and ensure timely and accurate settlement of claims.
Influencer Programmes — Build relationships with electricians, wiremen and small contractors through meets, demonstrations and loyalty initiatives; convert influencer preference into pull demand.
Branding & Visibility — Secure in-shop displays, boards,
danglers and other retail branding; ensure RHEIN visibility in every counter that stocks the brand.
Collections & Credit Hygiene — Collect against invoices within agreed credit terms; keep overdue accounts to a minimum and escalate risk early.
Competition Tracking — Report competitor pricing, schemes, recent appointments and network changes from the field on a continuing basis.
Reporting — Submit the prescribed daily report covering counters visited, orders booked, coils sold and order value, together with weekly and monthly reviews
Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline; an MBA in Marketing will be an advantage.
8 – 10 years of channel or retail sales experience in wires and cables, or in allied electrical categories such as switchgear, lighting, fans or conductors.
A working dealer and retailer network in the assigned territory, with the standing to open current counters.
