ROLE SUMMARY
To ensure reliable machine performance across the site by strengthening preventive maintenance, accelerating breakdown response, controlling critical spares, and leading the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and recurring failures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance for machines, utilities, and critical equipment.
Lead breakdown response and ensure quick restoration with minimum impact on production.
Maintain PM records, breakdown history, machine checklists, spare usage logs, and audit-ready documentation.
Manage critical spare inventory through minimum–maximum stock levels, consumption tracking, and timely replenishment.
Coordinate with the Purchase Department for spare procurement, vendor follow-up, technical clarification, and outsourcing support.
Analyze repeated failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Allocate work to technicians, monitor execution quality, and maintain team discipline regarding safety and response time.
Ensure protected maintenance practices, proper tool usage, valuable housekeeping, and compliance with plant safety standards.
