About the Job:

Kent is seeking a General Accountant for the Mumbai office to support end-to-end month-end close activities, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, accruals, depreciation, intercompany reconciliations, cash application, and rule-based journal entries. The role also involves maintaining process documentation, supporting automation and process improvements, and ensuring accuracy in financial records with a robust problem-solving approach.

Skills and Responsibilities
Reconcile Balance Sheet Accounts, Bank accounts and follow up on open items
Calculate and post accruals for expenses and provisions based on business inputs.
Perform depreciation run and reconciliation activity as per defined procedures.
Perform monthly intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
Positive understanding on the end-to-end month ends close activities.
Perform cash application and Netting process for ICO customers/ICO Vendors
Ensure accurate working and posting of Rule based journal entries
Create,



maintain and follow the process documentations as per the target operating model
Contribute towards automating and improving the processes.
Maintain a problem-solving approach
