Job Purpose

The Legal & Public Relations Officer will be responsible for coordinating the company's legal and regulatory matters while developing positive relationships with customers, farmers, government departments, local authorities, business partners, media and other stakeholders.

The role requires a combination of legal coordination, communication, relationship management, documentation and public representation.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Coordination




Coordinate with the company's legal advisors and advocates on legal matters.
Maintain proper records of agreements, contracts, notices, correspondence and legal documents.
Review basic agreements and documents before forwarding them to management/legal counsel for approval.
Coordinate responses to legal notices, customer disputes and contractual matters.
Follow up on pending legal cases and provide status updates to management.
Ensure key company documents are properly maintained and accessible.
Monitor applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Coordinate with government departments, local authorities and other regulatory bodies when required.
Public Relations
Represent Kumbukkal Pepper professionally when dealing with customers, farmers, government officials, institutions and other stakeholders.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with important stakeholders.
