About the Role

As a Risk and Compliance Specialist I on the Identity Team, you will be responsible for evaluating, verifying, and authenticating earner (driver and courier) identity and work authorization documents.

In this role, you will analyze government-issued documents, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, identify potential fraud, and make independent compliance decisions. The role requires balancing platform safety with a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Document & Compliance Verification
Review and verify identity and work authorization documents against regulatory requirements and compliance policies.
Use authorized government verification portals and internal systems to validate documentation.
Ensure all required documents meet applicable compliance standards.

Eligibility & Constraint Validation
Evaluate applicant eligibility based on defined policies and requirements.
Monitor document expiration dates and conditional work eligibility rules.
Ensure continuous compliance for earners on the platform.





Fraud Detection & Identity Integrity
Identify potential document tampering, impersonation, synthetic identities, and account-sharing activities.
Cross-check photographic, biometric, and system metadata to detect discrepancies and potential fraud.
Escalate suspicious or high-risk cases as per established procedures.

Independent Decision-Making
Make explicit, policy-based decisions, including:
