Key Responsibilities
Production Management: Assign daily tasks to operators, balance line flow, and ensure hourly or daily output targets are met.
Quality Control: Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), conduct inline quality checks, and catch stitching or assembly defects early.
Team Leadership: Train current or struggling operators, track attendance, and motivate floor workers.
Troubleshooting: Resolve minor sewing machine or fabric issues quickly, requesting maintenance support when needed.
Reporting: Document output quantities, material usage, and line efficiency stats for the production manager.
Requirements & Skills
Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a garment or textile production setting.
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of various industrial sewing machines, stitch types, and fabric behaviors.
Communication: Solid interpersonal skills to direct workers and report issues upward.
Problem-Solving: Ability to fix workflow snags and adjust operator allocations on the fly.
