About the Role
We are looking for someone who can manage more than just purchasing—someone who can take ownership of the complete material flow:
Project Requirement → Material Planning → Vendor Sourcing → Negotiation → PO → Dispatch → Logistics → Site Delivery → Closure
The role requires a robust combination of
strategic procurement, vendor management, material planning, logistics coordination and supply-chain execution
to ensure the right material reaches the right site, at the right time and at the right cost.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
Manage centralized procurement for multiple projects and locations across India.
Plan and execute procurement based on project requirements, BOQs, timelines and material schedules.
Source materials,
equipment and services from reliable vendors.
Identify and evaluate recent vendors and maintain solid vendor relationships.
Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, commercial terms, credit periods and delivery schedules.
Compare quotations and prepare commercial comparison statements for approvals.
Raise and monitor Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery.
Track procurement from enquiry to order placement and final delivery.
Ensure procurement is aligned with project budgets and approved specifications.
Develop alternate sources for critical materials to reduce supply risk.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Coordinate end-to-end movement of materials from vendors to project sites.
Plan dispatches based on project priorities and site requirements.
Coordinate with vendors, transporters, site teams, project managers and stores.
Track material dispatch, transit and delivery status.
Ensure timely delivery across multiple cities/sites
