Job Description: Sales Manager (FMCG Specialist) Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, result-oriented Sales Manager (FMCG Specialist) to drive retail penetration, expand market share, and manage distributor networks for the Selwa brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive ground-level experience in primary and secondary FMCG sales, a deep network of local retail connections, and a proven track record of meeting ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities1. Market Penetration & Retail Expansion
Conduct daily market beats to onboard recent general trade (Kirana stores), modern trade, and wholesale outlets.
Ensure maximum product visibility, optimal shelf placement, and stock availability at all retail points.
Execute hyper-local promotional activities, product sampling, and schemes to boost brand awareness and customer pull.
Distributor & Channel Management
Appoint, manage, and maintain strong relationships with regional distributors and stockists.




Monitor distributor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or over-stocking issues.
Ensure timely collection of payments and smooth processing of claims or returns.
Sales Targets & Reporting
Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly primary (company to distributor) and secondary (distributor to retailer) sales targets.
Track competitor pricing, packaging, current product launches, and market strategies, reporting insights to management.
Maintain accurate daily sales reports (DSR), beat plans, and order booking data.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 1 to 4 years of solid ground-sales experience within the FMCG industry (packaged foods, spices, snacks, or staples preferred).
Market Knowledge: Strong geographical familiarity with the target territory and existing relationships with local retail networks and distributors.
