Objective of the Role
Ensure 100% inspection of incoming raw materials, in-process quality control, and outgoing dispatches through solid quality management systems and documentation, resulting in zero defect, customer satisfaction, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities of the Role
Accountability
Develop, modify, review, and control quality checklists, inspection formats, and quality plans.
Ensure products are built as per quality standards and approved quality procedures.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, QMS requirements, and statutory / regulatory compliance.
Approve test certificates, inspection certificates, and related quality documents before dispatch.
Ensure complete job files and folders are available with all relevant documents at the time of final documentation and dispatch.
Plan and conduct Pre-FAT / FAT with clients and ensure closure of FAT deviations.
Deploy, monitor, and train employees on QMS and quality discipline.
Ensure zero-defect orientation and robust customer satisfaction through robust quality control systems.
Responsibility - Exclusive / Primary
Ensure documentation is accurate and in line with job progress.
Prepare inspection calendar in coordination with Projects and Production.
Ensure systems are properly tested before FAT and FAT deviations are addressed through retrial and closure.
Coordinate with Design for quality improvement and design-related quality concerns.
Develop in-process quality standards and checkpoints.
Conduct internal quality audits on quarterly basis for plant and vendors.
Conduct supplier quality audits, supplier evaluation, and vendor assessment.
Deploy statistical process control and monitor quality performance trends.
